I'm getting excited about OSCon. Besides the keynote speakers, I think I've figured out my session schedule:

Wed: Perl 6, Enterprise Perl, Mysql for binary storage, DBD::MySQL enhancements, Asterisk, State of MySQL Thu: Qpsmtpd, Template Toolkit, Ruby for the web, Wine, Intrusion detection, WebDAV Fri:Attack and penetration tools, DB Indexing

I hate how they have blocks of time where I really don't care about anything, and then they have a block or two where I want to listen in on at least 3 different ones, and am forced to choose. For what my registration fee cost, I should be able to see everything I want to. :P

Dear Portland (and greater Portland metropolitan area) drivers:

Unlike 4-way intersection stop lights, when you approach an exit onramp with ‘car queueing' stop lights, you don't need to stop if THEY AREN'T ON. If you do happen to stop when the lights aren't on, don't sit there confused and wait for a green. You'll be waiting a long time, as will the honking people behind you.
