Images from the Left Lane
By Mahlon Smith and Trevor Leahy

Ahhh yes.

I've always thought a good idea for an art gallery or waiting room book would just be a collection of images taken while driving. Not just any random pictures, but pictures taken of other drivers as I zoom by them on the freeway.

Trevor agreed to be the driver. I decided to start taking the pictures. With luck, there will be no legal implications. * cough cough *

Generally, the photos are unobtrusive, despite my hopes of nabbing moments of nose picking or singing.

Damn.

All were taken with a polaroid, and so therefore are blurry and badly colored. It's the medium. It's the form. It's the style. It's art.
At least, that's my excuse.

Go ahead and wander through the gallery.
