More accurately, I have NEVER heard noises like that come out of a cat.
By the time Germ began urping, I was already on the road up to the apartments. Germ was still in the back seat, making gagging sounds in between his high frequency mewings. All the sudden, almost in one leap, he was in my lap. He mewed a few more times... and then once more - but VERY differently. This last meow was NOT the normal squeaky MMEEIIIIW that I had grown accustomed to - it was the extreme opposite. Germ was suddenly a baritone. He continued this way for about 5 seconds, sounding like the James Earl Jones of the feline species, before I decided enough was enough. |
